The Ambassador for Diaspora Affairs, H.E. Julian DuBois is inviting Saint Lucians in the Diaspora to the 2nd Virtual Diaspora Engagement which is scheduled for Thursday, December 01, 2022, at 2:30 PM (EST) or 7:30 PM (GMT).
This virtual Diaspora meeting will be hosted by the Diaspora Affairs Unit of the Ministry of External Affairs, International Trade, Civil Aviation, and Diaspora Affairs, in collaboration with Saint Lucia’s overseas Missions.
It promises to provide information on the Citizenship application process (particularly in light of the plan to extend citizenship by descent to 2nd generation nationals born outside of Saint Lucia), improvements in the Civil Status records application process, national investment planning, and virtual access to general Government Services.
Minister for External Affairs, the Hon. Alva Baptiste will address the meeting and presentations will be made by the following Government Officers:
- Ms. Loyan St. Omer and a team from the Citizenship Department;
- Mrs. Verlinda Stanislas-Pierre Civil Status Registrar;
- Mr. Philip Lubrin Senior Investment Officer of Invest Saint Lucia; and
- Mr. Marlon Narcisse of the Public Service Modernization Unit.
